Happy New Year! Changes are afoot!

Happy New Year from Zest News!

Another year begins with positive thoughts for the future and the knowledge that you’ve still gotta pay for Christmas, both financially and figuratively.

And in figuratively, we mean that your body is going to need an overhaul this month, an MOT if you will, to get your body back on track.

We’re going to experiment with the newsletter in the next few weeks and put out a shorter, more succinct version that focuses on our produce supply, demand and excess and how that information can be best relayed to you, our current customers.

Produce Availability

Over the past few weeks, this section has been where we share the current farming and supply chain issues and how this affects the availability and price of the produce you order.

After going through what seems like months of issues with potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli and more recently, expensive strawberries, we’re delighted to confirm that we have no supply issues for the start of the year.

Prices have come down and produce is as plentiful as it can be.

We’re currently using Egyptian strawberries and the prices have dropped considerably on these in the past 2 weeks.

Brussel sprouts are now much harder to get hold of, but we’re fairly confident that the demand for them has somewhat waned – to put it lightly!

If and when these supplies again go short or go up in price, we’ll let you know as soon as we know.
