Frequently Asked Questions

What days do you deliver?

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We do not currently deliver on Bank holidays (except Good Friday), Christmas day, Boxing day or New Years day.

How do I sign up for an online ordering account?

If you already have a account with us, please call our office so they can talk you through the process and create the account for you. Alternatively, please register your interest in creating an account by clicking the ‘Register’ button in ‘My Account’ at the top of this page.

Can I make a payment online?

We are not currently taking online payments. If you already have an account with us, you will continue with your regular trading terms. If you are setting up a new trading account, you will be offered terms based on your requirements and our credit checks.

Can we register more than one user for the same company account?

Absolutely. Each member of your team can place orders if you wish. You can even set the account to require approval from a Manager for all or some members of your team, before they are released and processed. This allows you more control on what they can order.

Can I amend orders once they are placed?

At this time, orders can not be amended or cancelled once they are completed. However, you can place additional orders if you would like to add to them. If you need to change anything, please call our office and we will be happy to amend or cancel your orders for you.  

Can I set up templates for regular orders?

Yes you can. You can easily create a basket and then save this by giving it a name to remind you what’s in the basket. This can easily be amended if required and loaded back into your basket with a single click.

Prices will be updated, and you will be notified about any products that are no longer available.

When I checkout, why is there more than one delivery date?

We have lead times and cut off time for certain products:  

Kingsmill and Hovis bread : 12pm for next day delivery, Tuesday-Saturday. Monday deliveries need to be placed by 12pm Friday

Luke Evans and Jackson’s products : 12pm for next day delivery, Tuesday-Saturday. Monday deliveries need to be placed by 12pm Friday.

Prepared produce : 12pm for next day delivery, Tuesday-Saturday. Monday deliveries need to be placed by 10pm Sunday, unless items are hand cut/speciality, and then orders need to be placed by 12pm Friday. 

Some other items are pre-order only, and the ETA (expected time of arrival) to you date is displayed in the description. 

When there are multiple delivery dates you will need to create a delivery for each different date. This is simple to do. Just select the ‘ Checkout by Multiple Deliveries’ button and this will be created for you. 

Alternatively, you can remove the items that you no longer require. Deliveries not scheduled for the next day will be created even if they are below the minimum value. You can create additional orders for these dates at a later time, but we reserve the right to not deliver orders where the combined value is below £30. 

Can I check the status of my order?

Yes, we encourage you to log back in on the day of your delivery to check for any substitutions or items that aren’t being delivered. 

Can I track my delivery?

This is something that we are currently working towards and hope to have available soon. 

Are stock levels guaranteed?

The stock levels are indicative of the stock we have available, or are expecting to be delivered to us overnight. Due to the perishable nature of fresh produce and because we want to ensure it is fresh, we operate a ‘Just in Time’ stock system.

Occasionally, our deliveries don’t make it in time for us to add them to your order or the quality is not as expected, so we will either substitute the product or it will be missing from your order. As with any product, you are welcome to return substitutions with your delivery driver.
